Faces and Places at Summer Photo Camp
2019 marks our 24th year of offering photography camps, classes, and workshops, as well as private instructions and darkroom rentals. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for students of all ages to learn photography in a creative and supportive environment. Courses are held year-round for youths, teens, and adults in after-school, evening, weekend, and week-long programs. Instruction ranges from beginning through advanced. We have other opportunities for photography education for the whole family at CoastalMainePhotoTours.com. Join us!
For youth and teens:
There are B&W darkroom camps, a digital camp, and a photographing animals camp. There are camps for ages 9-14, 11-16, but please note that the age groups are a bit flexible. Camps often form on their own, and with that, I recommend that you check back for any additions to the current schedule, or call to express your needs.
The Photographing Animals camp is now full and I’ve started a waitlist. I will also consider offering another a week later, Aug 26-30 since school starts after Labor Day this year.
For teens and adults:
A two-day Digital Camera Controls course for teens and adults will be offered in May. Meeting on two Sunday afternoons with classroom work and a couple hours shooting out in the field, students will have a good understanding for the creative controls of their camera.
